Our mission
At Riley's Moon Lit Acres, we pride ourselves on our adaptability and commitment to excellence in every aspect of our service to our bunnies as well as the community. We provide a safe and loving environment and sanctuary for our bunnies in need in Conway, South Carolina. Our mission is to provide educational resources and awareness about these souls and all they need to live happy lives.
Hannah Banana is one of our sanctuary bunnies. Rescued from a cruelty case in 2023, Hannah has became a special part of our organization.

Our beautiful Lordship Willis is a 5 year old english lop from a cruelty case from 2023. He was rescued and fostered by a wonderful organization and foster. He now spends his days playing with his bun wife Hannah Banana. They are so loved.
Bunny care, awareness and educational resources
We offer a range of specialized animal care services tailored to meet their individual needs at our sanctuary. Providing a environmental area for people to experience these sweet souls on their level.
Hannah Banana and Lordship Willis love to lounge in the daytime play area we have set up for visitors to interact with our sweet bunnies.
Lordship Willis and his favorite treat, Kale! He is a 5 year old special needs english lop. He was a rescue from a cruelty case 2 years ago and now he loves his life living with his rescue wife Hannah Banana.
Miss Jessica Finlayson is one of our resident buns. This little lady was originally Julie Finlayson's personal bunny. (the creator of WARM, Waccamaw Animal Rescue Mission) Once Julie's health began to fail, she asked for Jessica to live with Angela and has lived with her at Riley's Moon Lit Acres ever since. She is still her sassy, spicy self even at 14 years old (this is what we can confirm.)
Our beautiful Riley. She was the social butterfly of the community so much that after her passing in 2021, people still ask about her. Riley is our reason. She made people accept bunnies for who they are.. they were no longer just a bunny, they "actually have personalities," if they met Riley..
That's what we were told on a daily basis. Such an inspiration for all bunnies. In Riley's honor we have created this organization, so all bunnies can be loved, appreciated, and can be understood.
Rehabilitation
We offer a range of specialized rehabilitation services tailored to meet the animals' individual needs. After years of rescue, these special needs bunnies stole our hearts. We work hand in hand with other rescues to build a networking community.

We offer animal adoption services, finding forever homes tailored to meet the animals' individual needs. We also provide sanctuary for those with special needs and disabilities. No bunny is ever turned away. We will help..
